Are you passionate about climate action, clean energy, and policy advocacy? Do you have strong research and analytical skills? Hope for a Better Future (H4BF) is looking for dedicated volunteers to support our mission through data-driven advocacy and policy innovation!

Role & Responsibilities:

-Conduct research and data collection to support H4BF’s initiatives.
- Assist in impact assessments and policy analysis.
-Research climate-smart agriculture, clean energy policies, and gender equality.
-Write reports and recommendations for policymakers, stakeholders, and donors.

Hope for a Better Future (H4BF) is committed to empowering vulnerable communities in Cameroon through clean energy, vocational training, economic empowerment, and humanitarian assistance. Our mission is to drive sustainable change by equipping youth, women, and marginalized groups with practical skills, resources, and opportunities to break cycles of poverty, build resilience, and create lasting economic and social transformation. Through community-driven solutions, strategic partnerships, and innovation, we promote renewable energy adoption, green entrepreneurship, and social equity, ensuring that no one is left behind. By fostering self-reliance and inclusive development, H4BF works toward a future where individuals and communities thrive in dignity, sustainability, and prosperity.

Description

Founded in 2009 and registered in 2014, H4BF is a nonprofit organization empowering vulnerable communities in Cameroon through clean energy, vocational training, economic empowerment, and humanitarian assistance. Our initiatives have impacted 400,000+ people, particularly in rural and crisis-affected regions.

We equip youth, women, and marginalized groups with skills, resources, and opportunities to break cycles of poverty, build resilience, and foster economic growth. H4BF has established 7 solar solution centers, distributed 1,500+ solar lamps, and trained 500+ youth annually in renewable energy, entrepreneurship, and digital skills.

Our impact includes 93 Community Health Workers trained, 50+ green businesses launched, and 50,000+ people benefiting from mobile clinics. Through innovation, strategic partnerships, and community-driven solutions, we work toward a sustainable and empowered future where no one is left behind.
