33rd Annual Senior Inspiration Awards - Usher Volunteer Opportunity

We are looking for enthusiastic and friendly volunteers to assist with ushering at Supervisor Perez's Senior Inspiration Awards event! This is a wonderful opportunity to help create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our guests as we honor seniors who have made inspiring contributions to our community.

Event Details:

Date: Thursday, March 27, 2025

Time: 9:00 am - 1:30 pm

Location: Fantasy Springs Resort Special Events Center

84-245 Indio Springs Pkwy, Indio, CA 92203

Volunteer Responsibilities:

  • Pre-event (9:00 AM - 11:00 AM): Help with the setup of the ballroom by placing picture collages, programs, flower arrangements, and table numbers.
  • Greeting Guests (10:00 AM): Welcome guests as they arrive, direct them to the registration tables, and offer assistance as needed.
  • Seating Guests (11:00 AM): When the ballroom doors open, usher guests to their assigned seats.
  • Event Program (11:30 AM): Volunteers enjoy lunch
  • Post-event (1:00 PM): After the program concludes, distribute Bundt cakes to guests as they leave and assist with gathering any left-behind programs or materials from the tables.
