Mission Statement
Every child in Zimbabwe deserves access to quality education, regardless of their socioeconomic status or abilities. At Pachipamwe, we believe that education is a fundamental right, and we are committed to making it a reality for as many students as possible. Unfortunately, the current investment in education by the government of Zimbabwe falls short of the global standard set by UNICEF, which calls for a minimum investment of 20%. It's time to prioritize our children's futures and invest in their education. Our students are faced with countless barriers that hinder their chances of success. These obstacles only reinforce the urgent need for our resources and contributions. Now more than ever, we must take action to ensure that every student has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.
Description
The Pachipamwe cohort program aims to provide school students from low-income and marginalized backgrounds with access to top-tier affordable boarding schools throughout Zimbabwe. At Pachipamwe, we believe that success is not just about academic achievement or job prospects, but about holistic development. Our program covers all costs associated with attending boarding school, including school fees, uniforms, toiletries, stationery, and food. This enables our students to focus on their education without the financial burden of maneuvering numerous hurdles in their homes or surrounding environments. Our pioneer cohort of 10-15 students will also receive mentorship and career development opportunities, empowering them to achieve their full potential and make a positive impact on their families and communities.
