Join us to celebrate our last planting event of our winter planting season! Volunteers had been hard at work planting hundreds of plants around Mercer Island since our kick-off event in the fall. We need your help to get the remaining couple of hundred in their new homes in Pioneer Park SE.
This will be a fun celebratory event including a prize drawing, yummy snacks and hot drinks, and plenty of amazing native plants to learn about. This will be the last chance to plant this season! So please join us to meet our planting goal, celebrate our hard-working volunteers, and appreciate the beauty of native plants.
No experience necessary. All ages are welcome; gloves and tools are provided.
When: Saturday, February 22 nd, 10am-1pm
Where: Pioneer Park SE follow Volunteer Event Signs
What to bring: Dress for the weather in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (think: long pants, boots or sneakers). Bring a water bottle. Small snacks, gloves, and tools will be provided.
