We get out of our house to go to the store or bank. So often seniors have a challenging time trying to figure out if they can afford to go the grocery store, and that maybe the only time they get out. Help a senior socialize, help them get to the community center, the library, or the many other places to see people. We are looking for volunteers who are willing to be that person.
Catholic Community Services Volunteer Services is a " free" transportation, light housecleaning, yard work and specialty projects for low-income seniors and individuals with disability in Clallam and Jefferson Counties.
If this sounds like something you would be interested in please let me know. You can reach me: Cari Breese, program coordinator, at: Cbreese@ccsww.org or 253-502-2766.
