ORGANIZATION: The Salvation Army

As a volunteer at the Citadel Food Pantry, you will assist clients as they receive food from our commodities and pantry programs. This requires walking with clients and lifting groceries. Volunteers will assist clients out to their vehicles to load their groceries.

Location: Citadel Corps at 1739 Elpyco St.

Time: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30am-2pm.

Is this your first time helping? First, make sure you have signed up through Better Impact. When you arrive for your shift, you will report to the smaller metal building and may park in the main parking lot that has a fence around it. Background checks are required for those completing court ordered hours.

  • 09:30 AM to 02:00 PM CST - Spots available: 6
    Opportunity occurs on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
