Hello Volunteers,
*This event will take place in Valley Springs,CA.
I hope ya'll are having a fabulous day. In May, we are having our Outdoor Adventure Campout. We have girls and troop leaders from the 18 counties we serve. Girls will experience fishing, outdoor art, swimming, candle ceremony in the evening, paddling, target sports, and horse riding. We are also looking for folks with special skills or certifications, and we seek volunteers to support our watersports (canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, swimming), archery, fishing, and nature-related workshops. Most volunteers will assist our horse partner by helping guide the girls as they learn how to take care of, ride, and handle a horse. The horse area will require volunteers to walk next to a Girl Scout supporting her. The horses will walk around in a corral. Volunteers do not need to spend the night. Girl Scout Staff will be in each area to support and train you.
