Help A Woman With ALS Through Cleaning (Minneapolis-Sheridan)

A 68-year-old woman with ALS would love a volunteer to help clean her apartment. Her schedule is very flexible any day of the week in the morning, afternoon, or evening. She would ideally like someone to visit every other week for approximately 2 hours at a time.

What is ALS?

ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is a degenerative disease of the central nervous system. ALS results in the progressive weakness of voluntary muscles which often leads to total paralysis. There is no known cause or cure for ALS. People with ALS typically live between two and five years after being diagnosed.

How does The ALS Association help?

We fulfill our mission by offering programs, services, and equipment free of charge to anyone affected by ALS residing in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
