The Godspeed Project is a 501(c)3 Non-profit Equine/Nature based grief support program for children and families that are navigating grief and loss.

We are a small operation and currently care for 5 horses on property.

That property could use some creative planning and good ol' fashioned clean up.

1.We would like to move the horse stalls to a new location and need to grade the ground for that, which requires a tractor or dirt moving machine and knowledge in drainage and leveling.

2.We need man power to move the fences and rebuild AND we need help digging holes to drop the roof posts into. This requires digging and welding equipment and skills.

3. We have a very old wooden slat fence that is in dire need of updating - or repair

4. We would love to run irrigation to the horse stalls and for future landscaping

5. We need landscape help and tree care.

If you love horses, landscape and design then this might be a fun and rewarding project to get involved in!

Mission Statement

We believe the right approach to grief support is one that meets the unique physical, emotional and mental needs of your family. We provide a safe space where your grief is honored and your heart is tended to. We harness the power of nature, mindfulness and therapeutic equine companions to help you

Description

The Godspeed Project is a non-profit 501(c)3 that offers free of charge grief support to children and families. Our work honors the impact of loss on a developing child. In Arizona 1 in 11 children will lost a parent or sibling before their 18th birthday. For those children loss can have negative reverberations throughout their life. It is our mission to help children learn skills to help them navigate the long journey of grief so that they can have the brightest future possible.
Our program is built on the belief that fresh air, therapeutic equine companionship, mindfulness and family connection is key to helping those suffering through loss find hope.
We are grievers. We know first hand the impact of loss and we have created this program to help others on their journey.
