MDFF provides direct, tangible support to Hoosier families living with muscular dystrophy and other neuromusuclar diseases. We do this through our annual van giveaway, financial assistance for home modifications, adaptive equipment, and more, as well as offer free social family outings. Visit mdff.org to learn more about who we are.

We'd like to add some amazing people to our annual fundraising event committee that occurs in September.

-Are you a doer, like to make things happen, and want to make a direct impact on Hoosiers?
-Do you have a little extra time to help obtain aweome silent auction items?
-Like to networking and/or marketing to help bring new attendees, sponsors, or other involvement to this event/organization?

If you answered "yes" to ANY of the above, please reach out directly to: aprzybylinski@mdff.org

A background check may be required upon joining committee. Meetings occur virtually once a month with an additional few hours per month varying based on tasks.

Mission Statement

MDFF’s goal is to increase the quality of life for members of our community through advocacy, education, and by providing life-changing resources that support greater mobility and independence.

Description

Everyone deserves the chance to lead a happy, productive life. In the U.S. alone, there are about 250,000 people with some form of muscular dystrophy and
thousands newly diagnosed each year. There is no cure for these progressive diseases and for many families, support beyond medical care is critical to their emotional needs and overall health outcomes.

MDFF is on the front lines helping men, women, and children get the essential resources they need to live with muscular dystrophy and other neuromuscular diseases. We provide financial assistance towards home modifications, adaptive equipment, and accessible transportation, as well as scholarships and family outings.
