As our Volunteer Grant Writer, you’ll play a vital role in helping us grow and sustain our mission. Your responsibilities will include:
- Researching and identifying grant opportunities that align with our funding needs and organizational goals.
- Maintaining a calendar of grant deadlines and required materials to keep us on track.
- Crafting and submitting compelling grant proposals to secure funding.
- Training and supporting a team to:
- Maintain detailed records of grant applications, deadlines, and statuses.
- Communicate with funders to confirm eligibility and ensure alignment.
- Ensure all grant requirements are met and submitted on time.

Description
The Nurturing Wellness Group Foundation, led by Terri Brinston, RN, MA, CLNC, CEO of School Nurse, launched in November 2017 in Wayne County, Michigan. Our mission is to break barriers hindering student success. We offer dynamic educational programs, mentoring, and parent support, fostering adaptability, career readiness, and lifelong learning.
We empower youth aged 14 to 25, especially those facing economic challenges and representing diverse identities in the Michigan Tricounty area. Join us in shaping a resilient, accomplished generation.
