The Stuyvesant Park Neighborhood Association (SPNA) seeks a creative and dedicated Volunteer Graphic Designer to support our nonprofit’s communications and outreach efforts. This role involves designing visually compelling graphics for various platforms, including the SPNA website, email newsletters, posters, and social media posts.
Key Responsibilities:
Create engaging and cohesive graphic designs that align with SPNA’s branding and mission.
Design digital assets for email newsletters and social media posts to promote events, updates, and community initiatives.
Develop print materials such as posters and flyers for local events and programs.
Collaborate with the SPNA team to conceptualize and execute design ideas that enhance community engagement.
Meet deadlines for scheduled content production and occasional ad hoc design requests.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar).
Strong design skills with an eye for detail and branding consistency.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.
Passion for community building and supporting nonprofit initiatives.
Time Commitment: Approximately 1-3 hours per week.
Compensation:
This is a volunteer position with a small stipend provided as a token of appreciation for your contributions.
