Mission Statement

At *Sisterhood on the Go*, we’re dedicated to creating a supportive community where women can connect, grow, and thrive. Founded in August 2019, our mission is to celebrate sisterhood, service, networking, and travel. We believe in the power of women supporting each other. Through annual Girls Trips, workshops, mentorship programs, and community service, we offer opportunities for personal and professional growth, empowering women to reach their full potential. Our initiatives encourage women to invest in themselves, prioritize self-care, and build lasting relationships. We foster a sense of belonging and support personal development. Looking ahead, we’re committed to expanding our reach with new opportunities for women to engage, learn, and grow. While travel remains central, we aim to deepen our impact through mentorship, workshops, and service initiatives grounded in our core values of sisterhood, empowerment, and support.

Description

Sisterhood on the Go was founded in August 2019 by a group of nine women united by their shared excitement for a Girls Trip to New Orleans. Over the past six years, the organization has grown and evolved, with a vision to broaden its reach and impact. While the annual Girls Trips have fostered joy and connection among members, the founder has been inspired by a larger purpose and feels called to do more.

Sisterhood on the Go recognizes the power of sisterhood and the importance of creating spaces where women can come together, uplift one another, and form meaningful relationships. The organization is dedicated to empowering women to embrace their full potential, offering opportunities for personal growth, professional development, and community engagement. Central to its mission is the promotion of sisterhood, self-care, and personal development, encouraging women to prioritize their well-being and invest in themselves.

Looking to the future, Sisterhood on the Go plans to expand beyond its beloved Girls Trips, though these will remain an integral part of the organization’s activities. The founder envisions creating additional opportunities for women to connect, learn, and grow through workshops, retreats, mentorship programs, and community service initiatives.

Ultimately, Sisterhood on the Go is a dynamic and evolving community that celebrates the strength of sisterhood, empowers women to achieve their goals, and provides a platform for connection, support, and personal growth.
