ORGANIZATION: Generation Hope

Did you know that fewer than 2% of teen mothers who give birth before age 18 earn a college degree by age 30? At Generation Hope, we’re working to change that-one family and one system at a time. You can be part of this impactful mission.

Become a Generation Hope Mentor in New Orleans.
As a mentor, you’ll be paired one-on-one with a determined teen parent pursuing their college degree. Throughout their journey, you’ll meet monthly to provide guidance, encouragement, and support.

Your Commitment:

  • $1,200/year ($100/month) for a community college student
  • $2,400/year ($200/month) for a four-year college student
All contributions go directly toward your Scholar’s tuition.

Who Can Be a Mentor?
We welcome mentors from all backgrounds. All you need is a caring heart and a willingness to help a young parent succeed.

Get Involved Today.
Join us in transforming lives and building brighter futures for young families.
