The Mountain Home Ranger Districts is seeking Volunteer campground hosts for the Dog Creek CG, Elks Flat CG, Shaffer Butte CG, Trinity Area CG, Cottonwood Guard Station. A subsistence reimbursement allowance is available.
This opportunity is for the Cottonwood Guard Station and Middle Fork Area. A stay at the Cottonwood Campground enables guests to enjoy all the beauty and recreation offered around the Middle Fork Boise River and Arrowrock Reservoir.
This tiny campground hosts 3 campsites.
Weather is usually good from mid-May through late September and is easily accessible by car in good weather, although the road is sometimes rough and the drive can be seemingly long.
Several other small campsites will be monitored by this position, including Badger Creek and Willow Creek Campgrounds.
