Do you love sewing and have a passion for helping others? Join our team of hospice volunteers in creating Memory Bears - a special keepsake made from the clothing of loved ones who have passed. These bears bring comfort and lasting memories to families during their time of loss.

What You’ll Do:

  • Transform cherished clothing items into handmade memory bears.
  • Use your creativity and sewing skills to bring joy to grieving families.
  • Work alongside a caring and supportive community of volunteers.

Time Commitment: Flexible - volunteer when it works for you!
Experience Needed: Basic sewing skills and understanding patterns

Description

Silverado Hospice goal is to maximize the quality of life through exceptional care and unmatched service. We provide world class care for all terminal diagnoses, 24 hour customer care support, unique programs (Memory Catchers and Essential Oils), as well as pre-bereavement and 13 month post-bereavement support. We go to wherever the patient calls "HOME" serving the entire Dallas/Fort Worth Area without regard to race, color, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability (physical or mental), communicable disease, or place of national origin.
