Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Home Delivered Meals in Pine Island! This is a donation program which would not exist without your time and dedication to your community. Every meal delivered is a wellness check and community connection for an older adult in need!
The meal pick up time is 11:00 am sharp M-F at Pine Island Senior Center (109 3rd St SW). Meals are packaged in two soft shoulder bags (one hot and one cold). You will receive a sheet with cards of client’s addresses, phone numbers, special diet, and instructions to deliver meals that day. Volunteers will deliver meals to each address and pick up rinsed out used trays from clients. After the route is complete the volunteer will return the trays and bags back to the Senior Center.

Three Rivers Community Action is a nonprofit human service organization created by local citizens and incorporated in 1966.

In the professional community of human services, Three Rivers Community Action plays an important role. Three Rivers advocates for our program participants at the local, state and federal levels. These collaborative relationships allow agencies to maximize their resources to serve families and communities. Three Rivers is an agent of change within the community, paving the way for understanding and acceptance.
Our broadest impact is on the people we serve. We fulfill dreams of homeownership for single parents, people with disabilities and diverse families. We keep seniors in their homes with home delivered meals, transportation and energy assistance. Through the Head Start program, we provide school readiness for children and a variety of services for the entire family. We strive to serve people better wherever they are in life, from homelessness to homeownership, and everywhere in between.
