A Home of Their Own is committed to saving as many dogs and cats as we can while finding them the best possible forever homes. Once an animal is adopted, we will offer education, training, outreach and support to create a community of happy adopters and their pets.

Have you been considering fostering but are not sure you can commit to a long term foster situation? Then our two-week foster program might be the right fit for you. This challenging, yet rewarding, position allows you to discover a dog’s true personality and the environment in which they flourish. You also enable AHOTO and local shelters to serve more animals in need. We are happy to provide food, toys, a crate, and gear. You just have to provide a loving and caring home for a furry friend.
