Trail Maintenance / Park Beautification

ORGANIZATION: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

Duties include:


Trimming or cutting up brush, trees, and other vegetation from parks, trails, and WMAs, maintaining existing gardens by keeping them free of weeds, planting flowers and shrubs, placing mulch in all appropriate areas, trash and recycling pickup, frequent trail safety inspections, notifying Rangers of dangerous conditions on trails that requires assistance, assistance with the building of new trails.

Hours: Needed for year-round maintenance, 24 hours/week for single volunteer or 32 hours/week for couples.


A full hookup campsite is available.
