Fee Booth Attendant at Hauser Lake Recreation Sites

BLM Butte Field Office is searching for volunteers to help attend fee booths at Clark's Bay, Devil's Elbow and White Sandy on Hauser Lake outside of Helena, MT.


We are looking for friendly, customer-service focused volunteers to help staff fee booths for our beautiful recreation sites located on scenic Hauser Lake, roughly 15-20 miles outside of Helena, MT. These sites are Clark's Bay, Devil's Elbow and White Sandy. Our busy season runs from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.


What you need to know:

We ask that you commit to being with us from the beginning of May through Labor Day but preferably through the end of September.

You may work up to 4 days per week.

The number of hours worked daily varies, but 4 hours per day is expected.

You must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as that is when we our busiest and need help.

You must complete and pass a Federal Background Investigation with fingerprints.

You would serve as a friendly, professional, reliable, fair, and knowledgeable representative of the BLM and our recreation sites.

The BLM will reimburse each volunteer $30 for each 4 hour shift worked.

End Date - 2025-09-30
