Campground Host at Divide Bridge Campground
This Opportunity is well suited for a people-orientated person or couple.
Located about 25miles South of Butte, on the Big Hole River, Divide Bridge Campground and Day Use Area are popular fishing and rafting destinations. The 22 site campground has a small boat launch. The Divide Bridge Day Use Area has a larger boat launch and parking lot that gets heavy use most of the summer.
The 22 site campground gets frequent use most of the summer. The non-fee Day Use Area and Boat Launch can get packed on most weekends. We want you to make sure the camping fees are being paid; however, you will not collect any money.
Some people need to be politely reminded about the 10pm quiet hours and to turn off their generators or to keep their dogs on their leash. You will be asked lots of common questions.
You Will Be Cleaning. Four concrete vault style toilets need to be frequently cleaned and re-stocked with toilet paper. We have all the supplies. The 22 camping sites each have a fire ring that periodically need emptied of ashes. Garbage will also need to be picked-up.
Grounds Maintenance. Grass has to stay green with lots watering by moving hoses. Mowing will keep it looking pristine. Weeding is also appreciated.
What You Get. There is a pad to park your RV that has full hook-ups. We will also reimburse you a $30/day meal stipend for each person. This commitment will run from mid-May through Labor Day, at the earliest.
Volunteers will be provided BLM shirts, a hat, and a nametag.
Working Hours: The volunteer will work a minimum of 4 days in each 7-day period. Schedule will be coordinated with the Supervisory Outdoor Recreation Planner. Working hours are flexible. Volunteers are expected to work weekends and holidays, since this is when peak activity occurs. The campground is open year-round, but we only ask volunteers to be there from May through September.
Training: Volunteers will be required to attend a mandatory volunteer orientation. Volunteers will receive orientation regarding the rules and regulations of the BLM, the site, and the volunteer program.

Mission Statement
The Bureau of Land Management's mission is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations.
Description
The BLM manages 245 million acres of public lands and 700 million acres of mineral estate. These public lands and subsurface acres are integral to the lives and livelihoods of communities and families across the country. We promote multiple-use on public lands to maximize opportunities for commercial, recreational, and conservation activities. This promotes healthy and productive public lands that create jobs in local communities while supporting traditional land uses such as responsible energy development, timber harvesting, grazing, and recreation, including hunting and fishing.
