Remove the barrier of transportation for our families by providing rides to work, school, doctor’s appointments, court hearings, etc, or assist Solid Ground's donations team with picking up or delivering essential household or personal care items. Timing is flexible and determined by the volunteer and participants’ needs. Rides cannot be requested outside of Solid Ground's normal office hours of M-F, 8:00am-4:30pm.

Travel is generally limited to the northern Metro area (primarily White Bear Lake, Maplewood, Stillwater, Oakdale or St. Paul). Volunteers can use either the agency minivan or their personal vehicle.

Volunteers must be age 21 or older and pass a Level 3 Background Check & Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR). On-call and substitute opportunities are available as well.

If you're interested in making an impact on the lives of the families at Solid Ground, please contact Dylan at 651-846-9024 or DMcDonough@solidgroundmn.org.
