At Village Volunteers, we provide essential services to help seniors remain independent and connected in their homes. Our dedicated volunteers make a real impact by offering assistance with transportation, friendly visits, household support, handyperson tasks, and much more.
Village Volunteers serves the Lewes, Milton and Rehoboth-Dewey Beach area in Delaware.
South Coastal Village serves the Ocean View, Millville, Bethany Beach, and South Bethany Beach area in Delaware.
We’re Looking For Volunteers Who:
- Want to give back to the community
- Have a few hours to spare each month
- Enjoy connecting with others and offering support
- Are compassionate, reliable, and ready to make a difference!
Volunteer Opportunities Include:
- Providing transportation for medical appointments, grocery shopping, and errands
- Offering companionship through friendly visits and telephone check-ins
- Assisting with light household tasks, like organizing and minor repairs
- Helping members with technical support (e.g., phones, computers, gadgets)
No previous experience is required! We provide training and support to ensure a positive and rewarding experience for both you and the individuals you serve.

- Volunteer 2–4 hours weekly (flexible scheduling) and commit to 6 months to support our members. Opportunities include transportation, errands, household help, friendly visits, and more. Make a meaningful impact on your schedule!
- Volunteers complete an application, background check, and attend orientation. Drivers need a valid license and insurance. Bring compassion, reliability, and a desire to help others to make a meaningful impact with the Village!
