Pompeys Pillar National Monument is a fascinating historical site located about 30 miles northest of Billings. The monument in the only remaining on-site physical evidence of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. The Interpretive Center at Pompey's Pillar offers visitors a chance to delv into rich history of the area, including the journey of Captain Willian Clark and his detachment down th Yellowstone River in 1806.

Voluteering at the Interpretive Center can be incredibly rewarding. It offers the opportunity to share the rich history of Pompey's Pillar with vistors, engage with people from all walks of life, and contribute to the preservation and educaton of this important historical site. The sense of fulfillment that comes from helping others learn and appreciate the significance of Pompey's Pillar Interpretive Center can be a deeply satisfying ecperience.

Description

Pompey's Pillar, a significant historical site along the Lewis and Clark Expedition route, is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help preserve and promote this landmark. Volunteers will have the opportunity to engage in activities such as guided tours, educational programs, trail maintenance, and gift store help. This is an excellent chance for individuals who are passionate about history, nature, or community service to contribute to the preservation of our nation's heritage while gaining valuable experience. Join us in celebrating this iconic site by leading your time and skills!
