The primary duty of the Park Host position is to ensure the campgrounds are in the best possible condition and provide visitor assistance, so users have an enjoyable experience. The position is required to work a minimum of 24 hours a week in exchange for a campsite. Volunteers may be required to work in gate houses to assist campers and park visitors. Weekend and holiday work may be required. The volunteer will be required to provide their own transportation as needed. This position will report to the volunteer coordinator but may be supervised by other staff members as duties occur. Park Hosts will have set schedules. Schedules will vary depending on the park. Contact the project office for park specific scheduling. RV/trailer pad with full hookups provided in exchange for 96 hours of volunteer services per month.
