We are looking for Volunteers in the Central Phoenix, Scottsdale, PV area. Our volunteers visit our patients in their own homes, Group Homes and Assited Living Communities. Basically wherever they call home.

Responsibilities included regular visits to provide companionship and socilazation support.

May provide respite support if needed, if the volunteer is open to a longer time frame then regular visits.

Maintaining documentation of the visit, which is an easy process.

We provide all of the training and support that you need to be a successful volunteer!!

This is an oppurtunity that you will make a huge difference in your life! Visiting with our seniors is very rewarding!

Hospice offers an alternative to repeat hospitalizations and provides patients the opportunity to complete their lives with dignity and peace.

Description

Savior Hospice is seeking volunteers to make a difference in the lives of our hospice patients throughout the Valley.

Volunteers are friendly visitors who offer companionship to hospice patients and a much-needed break to their tired caregivers. Volunteers might read, watch TV or movies, listen to music, play cards or games, make a snack or assist with light housekeeping. They may chat about current events or reminisce about days gone by.

As little as an hour a week can make a BIG difference!

Training is FREE and can be done on your schedule.
