Partnership with the City of Oxnard's RSVP Program in collaboration with Shop Ahoy proudly offers unique volunteer opportunities specifically designed for individuals aged 55 and older. This partnership allows volunteers to make a significant impact in the community by assisting seniors who can cook but are unable to drive to the grocery store or face disabilities that hinder their ability to shop.

Volunteer Opportunities Include:

• Calling participants to take their grocery orders.
• Shopping with other volunteers at local grocery stores once a week.
• Delivering groceries using their own vehicles.

Our Operations Operating from locations across the county-Camarillo, Ventura, and Oxnard-volunteers connect with customers weekly to manage individual orders, complete the shopping, and handle deliveries. The involvement of our volunteers is vital in assist approximately 150 seniors and are continually working to expand our services.
