**Position Overview:**
As a Fundraising Team Volunteer at KUTE, You will assist in organizing activities like charity events, online fundraisers, or donation drives. Volunteers research potential donors or sponsors and help with outreach efforts. They may also handle administrative tasks, such as managing donor databases or preparing fundraising materials. Creativity is key, as they often brainstorm new ideas to engage supporters. Strong communication skills are important for writing emails, making calls, or presenting ideas. Volunteers work closely with the fundraising team to meet financial goals. Their efforts directly support the organization’s mission by securing the resources needed to carry out programs and services.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Fundraising Strategy:** Design and implement effective fundraising strategies, targeting both short-term goals and sustainable, long-term growth.
- **Donor Relations:** Build and maintain relationships with individual donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors, fostering a community that believes in KUTE's mission.
- **Event Planning:** Organize and manage fundraising events, both virtual and in-person, that engage the community and raise awareness and funds for KUTE's initiatives.
- **Grant Writing:** Research and apply for grants that align with KUTE's mission, securing funding to support our programs.
- **Partnership Development:** Identify and establish partnerships with other organizations and businesses that align with KUTE's goals, maximizing our fundraising potential.
- **E-Commerce Initiative:** Collaborate with team members to explore the potential of an e-commerce platform within KUTE, creating a sustainable revenue stream for future growth.

We are the Knowledge Unlocked To Everyone (KUTE) Organization, a 501(c)(3) non-profit based in South Jersey. Our mission is to bridge the gap In resources between students in our local, national, and international communities, and we are committed to promoting educational equity for all. In order to work towards this objective, we donate books and school supplies to schools that need them.

Description

The KUTE organization primarily focuses on book drives, in order to donate storybooks, novels, and textbooks to young readers. We started with a drive in partnership with Urban Promise to donate books to our local community in Camden, but we have expanded into New York, California, and are planning on holding a drive for a school in India.
Potential volunteers can expect a variety of tasks from researching potential partners for drives, decorating bins and posters for said drives, and helping organize and run community book fairs.
