Froedtert Finders serve to:
- Initiate assistance and field calls from various departments to assist patients and visitors to include greeting, offering to help, holding doors and elevators, and escorting to destinations.
- Assist with deliveries of patient items and department to department.
- Provide information regarding parking and hospital amenities.
- Collect wheelchairs throughout the hospital.
Like most other positions the assignment is in 2-hour increments with time slots available 10am-12, 12pm-2pm, and 2pm - 4pm throughout the week. If you might be interested, you will have the opportunity to shadow a volunteer that is currently serving in this role to see if it is a good fit for you. Volunteers have been serving Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital since the hospital doors opened in 1964. Today, almost 300 volunteers serve the hospital with the ultimate goal of enhancing the patient care experience. Volunteers also participate in fundraising events that give back over $100,000 to the hospital each year.
