Position Overview:
We’re looking for a dedicated Grant Team Leader to spearhead our grant-seeking efforts. This pivotal role involves identifying funding opportunities, leading the grant writing team, and ensuring the success of proposals that align with our mission. If you’re passionate about driving change and have a knack for organization and leadership, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify grants and funding opportunities for nonprofit initiatives.
- Lead and manage a team of grant writers, delegating tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Interview and approve candidates for the grant writing team.
- Report directly to the founder on a weekly basis, providing detailed updates on team progression and grant application statuses.
- Develop a comprehensive grant-seeking strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
- Review and edit grant proposals to ensure accuracy, professionalism, and alignment with funder requirements.
- Track grant applications, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven experience in grant writing or fundraising (preferred but not required).
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Passion for civic engagement and nonprofit work.
