About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Social Media Assistant to support the management of our organization's Facebook pages. The ideal candidate will be a social media enthusiast with a strong understanding of Facebook's features and best practices. This role will involve assisting with day-to-day activities, content creation, and community engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Content Support:
- Assist in the creation and scheduling of engaging Facebook posts, including text, images, and videos.
- Research and suggest relevant content ideas and trending topics.
- Help curate and share user-generated content related to our organization.
- Assist in the development of short-form video content (e.g., Reels).
- Community Management:
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on the Facebook page in a timely and professional manner.
- Engage with followers by liking, commenting, and sharing their posts.
- Identify and report any negative feedback or potential issues.
- Assist in identifying and nurturing key influencers and brand advocates.
- Data Entry & Organization:
- Maintain an organized content calendar and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Assist in compiling data and generating basic reports on Facebook page performance.
- Stay Updated:
- Stay informed about the latest Facebook features, algorithm updates, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of Facebook and its features.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multitask.
- Proactive and eager to learn.
- Basic photo and video editing skills (preferred).
- Experience with social media scheduling tools (preferred).
