We Build Leaders.

NAAAP-Chicago is seeking volunteers to serve on our Back to School Drive Committee, a signature event that is part of our Community Service Program. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable work experience for a career in Program Management by accomplishing independent tasks.

Our Back to School Drive & Packing Party unites individuals and organizations to collect and assemble donated backpacks and school supplies for students, creating a meaningful impact on our Chicago Asian & Pacific Islander community. This initiative not only supports education but also strengthens connections and fosters goodwill among residents.

We are in search of individuals who embodies both organization and motivation, a go-getter who thrives on completing tasks with minimal supervision and eagerly seizes opportunities to take initiative. We seek someone who embraces innovation and is unafraid to venture into uncharted territory.

Volunteers must have familiarity with the Chicago area and suburbs as this program involves working with other nonprofit organizations in the Chicago Asian/Pacific Islander American Community. Volunteers play an active role in the planning, recruitment, fundraising, and execution of community service events.

The majority of the work can be done virtually but volunteers are also expected in the coordination and execution of the event itself.

Join us in making the NAAAP brand a symbol of high potential and driving impact in the Asian American community.
