Carters - Harris Branch Beach

Harris Branch Beach season is Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Orientation and training is planned for the week prior to opening. Park hours are 9-6 on weekdays (closed Wed) and 9-8 on weekends.
Hosts work 20+hours/week, typically on a 3-on/4-off schedule, in exchange for a spacious 50/30-amp full hook up site on location and access to a private shower house and free washer/dryer. Sites are adjacent to the gatehouse and a utility vehicle is available for duty use in the park. The park gates are secured after hours.
Duties include:
· greeting visitors at entrance gatehouse, providing guidance on automated fee station, and tracking visitation
· providing water safety information and encouraging use of loaner life vest stations
· monitoring beach and picnic shelter usage; communicating with Park Rangers and law enforcement patrols
· general opening and closing tasks with light upkeep of grounds and facilities
