Are you interested in gaining a valuable volunteer experience? Dale Hollow Lake utilizes volunteers in many of our operations. As a volunteer, you gain valuable skills, work outdoors, meet new people, see a new area, and achieve a proud sense of contributing to the visiting public and promoting positive stewardship of public lands.

USACE, Dale Hollow Lake, Obey River Day-Use, Monroe, TN. Position currently available, May to October 2025. Duties include but are not limited to overseeing day-use area, instructing guests on how to use automated pay station, checking vehicle paid status, issuing loaner lifejackets, and providing visitor information and assistance. Office is provided. Position will coordinate with another volunteer ensuring maximum coverage of the area, including holiday work. Volunteer hours, 20 hours per week, in exchange for site with utilities. The resident site is included with water, electric, sewer. Laundry included, and Wi-Fi is available near the registration center. A background check will be required for each long-term volunteer. View Park information at: www.Recreation.gov . Questions?
