Maintenance Position

ORGANIZATION: USDA Forest Service

A traveling host pair or individual is needed for a Maintenance position at the spectacular Cape Perpetua Scenic Area in the Siuslaw National Forest from May/June 2025 to October 2025. The Maintenance position cleans the scenic area restrooms, 2 flush toilet buildings and 2 CXTs, five days a week.

We offer an RV site and a Forest Service vehicle for job duties. Hookups include water, sewer, 50 amp electrical, and wireless internet. Reimbursement for propane usage and .14$ a mile reimbursement for daily travel to work site (if needed). Cell phone coverage is spotty. There is a washer and dryer currently at Cape Perpetua Visitor Center.
