The Deputy Director of Regions supports the Director of Regions in all
administrative and reporting tasks. This role ensures smooth operations and effecti
communication within all the Regions.
Expectations:
1. Meets and communicates frequently with the Director of Regions
2. Attend all the VYP Regional meetings and gatherings to foster community
3. Reply to all email requests and tasks promptly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Administrative support
a. Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
b. Handle incoming and outgoing communications, ensuring timely responses.
2. Reporting and Data Management
a. Assist in preparing and maintaining regional reports, including
tracking metrics and compiling data.
b. Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring data integrity and
confidentiality.
c. Generate quarterly reports.
3. Coordination and Communication
a. Act as a liaison between the Director of Regions and Regional Teams,
facilitating effective communication and information f
b. Coordinate and support regional events and meetings.
c. Manage and update contact lists and distribution lists for regional
communications.
4. Project assistance
a. Support special projects and initiatives as directed by the Director of Regions.
b. Assist in the development and implementation of regional programs and
activities.

Description
Veterans Yoga Project is a national 501(c)3 on a mission to support recovery and resilience among our veterans, military families and communities. VYP envisions a future where all those affected by trauma have access to a full range of mind-body practices and programs, and is committed to providing these tools and training in Safer, Predictable and Controlled environments (SPaCe).
Founded in 2011, Veterans Yoga Project is an IAYT member school, an NBCC Approved Continuing Education Provider and a certified Yoga Alliance School ( RYS-200 YACEP). Working in partnership with veterans, active-duty military personnel, student veterans' organizations , veterans treatment courts and other non-profit organizations, VYP-trained instructors and clinicians provide programs, resources, connections and teach over 100 free yoga classes each week.
