ORGANIZATION: CINCINNATI CYCLE CLUB CHARITABLE FOUNDATION

The Licking Valley Century Bike Tour is a 1-day cycling adventure through the hills and valleys of Northern Kentucky, held on Saturday June 21st, 2025. The event is the Cincinnati Cycle Club's largest fundraiser to support charities, cycling advocacy & safety, and general operating expenses of the club.

There are four volunteer committees that plan & organize the ride:

  1. Registration. This committee is primarly active in the week prior to the ride and the morning of the ride.
  2. Routes, Safety, SAG. This committee is primarily active in the final weeks before the ride.
  3. Rest Stop Logistics. This committee is active throughout the year planning the delivery and management of supplies/food/drink at each of the six rest stops.
  4. Promotions/Sponsorship: This committee is active throughout the year promoting the event on social media and through strategic partnerships. They also solicit potential sponsors until early March.

Mission Statement

The Cincinnati Cycle Club is an all volunteer organization dedicated to promoting safe cycling, advocating cycling and pedestrian rights, and building community around the bike.

Description

The Cincinnati Cycling Club donates and fundraises $20,000 to $30,000 annually to a diverse group of organizations and individuals in the greater Cincinnati area. In addition to providing funding, members of the CCC generously donate their time by hosting rider safety training classes, new rider trainer classes, and volunteering for the National MS Society and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
We have several ongoing partnerships with community-based organizations including Ohio Bike Federation (OBF), Tri-State Trails, MOBO, CORA, Cincinnati chapter of the National MS Society, Henry Hosea House, and Knights of Columbus in Alexandria, KY.
