ORGANIZATION: Cape Fear Botanical Garden

Would you like to give tours of the Garden? Cape Fear Botanical Garden will hold two Volunteer Tour Guide Leader trainings in February.

Becoming a Tour Guide provides a rewarding opportunity to connect the public with nature. You'll learn interesting features of the Garden and make memories for children, families, and adults. No prior experience is necessary. Tour guide leaders should be able to walk for about an hour over uneven surfaces and be available on either weekday mornings or weekends. All tour guide volunteers need to complete a background check.

Tour Guide Trainings (Volunteer hours will be provided for attending):

  • Feb. 1st: 1-3 pm

  • Feb. 11th: 10 am-12 pm

If you would like to sign up, please email bgoldentyer@capefearbg.org with your name, phone number, and the preferred training session you'd like to attend.
