AccentCare is looking for dedicated and compassionate Bereavement Volunteers to provide regular contact via telephone calls to the bereaved families or friends of hospice patients who have died within the last six months to thirteen months.
Some things that Bereavement Volunteers help our families with may include but are not limited to:
- Enncouraging the bereaved to participate in support groups and/or scheduled activities when appropriate.
- Complete a Bereavement Note for each phone call or visit.
