USO Airport Centers are private lounges, staffed by volunteers, where our active-duty military and military families can rest and recharge. Our USO Orange County Center in John Wayne Airport provides not only a place to relax, but TV, Wi-Fi, gaming, , and a canteen with beverages and snacks. Volunteers staff the front reception desk area and canteen. They also visit with our guests and make them feel at home. Our volunteers work as a team, and our team is awesome!
Volunteers work a set schedule, either every week or every other week. We ask for a commitment of six months. Our shifts are Monday - Friday 7am-10am, 10am-2pm, 2pm-6pm and 6pm-9pm, Saturday 7am-10am, 10am-2pm and 2pm-6pm, and Sunday 10am-2pm, 2pm-6pm and 6pm- 9pm.
We are located in Terminal B on the Arrival (lower) level next to baggage carousel 4.
Since 1941 the USO has been serving our active duty, guards, reservists, and dependent military family members. We are a Congressionally chartered 501(c)(3) private organization. We are not part of the government, nor are we government funded.
