Beaver Creek Day Use Host

Volunteer will manage all aspects of small day use area with 11 picnic sites, small playground, and beach area. Duties will include being point of contact for visitors, opening and closing entrance gate daily, working entrance booth during set hours on weekends and holidays, providing information regarding self-pay stations and distributing water safety information and materials. Some light cleaning and litter pick-up may be required. A golf cart or slow-speed UTV is highly recommended for this position.
One campsite with picnic table, fire ring, lantern hook, and electric/water/sewer hookups will be provided. Applicants must provide their own self-contained camping units in good condition. Please note, there are no flush toilet or shower facilities onsite. Volunteers will be able to travel to nearby campgrounds to access these amenities if needed. Must provide 25 hours of service per week, focusing on weekends and holidays.
