We are seeking friendly, energetic volunteers to serve as campground attendants, performing various duties required to facilitate operation of popular campground. Volunteers will perform some limited functions on computer during booth hours such as checking campers in/out, making on-site modifications, and processing cashless transactions. Volunteers will also monitor activity in campground and communicate rules violations to Ranger staff as needed. Two sets of hosts will share required duties, each having one week on duty, followed by one week off duty. Entrance booth hours will vary from day to day but will generally run late afternoon into evening for 3-4 hours per day, with Tuesdays off. A golf cart is highly recommended for this position.
Campsite with picnic table, fire ring, lantern hook, and electric/sewer/water hookups will be provided. Applicants must provide their own self-contained camping units in good condition. Volunteers must provide minimum of 30 hours of service every other week to qualify.
