Alabama Hospice Care of Birmingham is seeking an Administrative Volunteer to help 1 to 2 days a week with various tasks in the office. Our volunteers play a vital role in enhancing the quality of care delivered to our patients and families through direct patient/family care activities, or administrative activities that support the hospice agency’s goal of quality patient/family care. As an administrative volunteer you will provide support to the Volunteer Manager, and occasionally other office staff, by performing duties such as calling families to ensure they have adequate supplies, organizing files, making admission packets, helping plan events, scanning documents, and other duties as requested.
