Lunch Buddy Mentor

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: PTM

Do you enjoy working with elementary-aged students?
Do you miss the culture of a school cafeteria?
Do you have a lunch break at work or a free hour at lunch-time once a week?

If you answered "YES" to one or more of the questions above, you should consider becoming a Lunch Buddy! Preston Taylor Ministries partners with some MNPS Elementary schools to run the Lunch Buddy program, a program where K-5 students are paired with a "Lunch Buddy" or mentor, someone who comes to eat lunch with them once/week in their school!

Lunch Buddies is a program where the mentors are able to provide encouragement to a student, build a relationship, practice goal-setting, and provide some extra support. When their lunch buddy comes to visit, students feel encouraged and empowered!
Would YOU like to be a lunch buddy?
