Artist Needed for The Big Event 2025

UCP Seguin of Greater Chicago will host its annual gala, The Big Event, at the Chicago Marriott Oak Brook. This year's theme, "Night at the Gallery," celebrates creativity, inclusion, and community. We are excited to feature a unique collaborative painting activity for all guests to enjoy.

The activity will center around a tribute to Piet Mondrian’s iconic abstract style. We plan to recreate one of his masterpieces by dividing the artwork into multiple sections, each represented on an individual canvas. Throughout the evening, guests will be invited to paint a section of the piece, contributing their personal touch to this collective creation.

To ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience, we are seeking an experienced artist or team to:

Guide: guests as they paint, providing instructions and creative tips to align their work with the overall vision.

Encourage: participation and make the activity approachable for guests of all skill levels.

Assemble the finished pieces: At the end of the evening, reveal the completed artwork in a dramatic finale.

The final masterpiece will serve as a memorable centerpiece for the event and be displayed at one of UCP Seguin’s day program sites. It symbolizes the collective spirit and creativity of our community. This interactive element promises to be a highlight of the evening, fostering engagement and a shared sense of accomplishment among attendees.
