Creative Emajinations is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing access to the arts for children, youth, and families in our community. Join us in helping to celebrate Creative Emajinations Day proclamed by the mayor of Kansas City celebrated annually on June 1st we will celebrate with art, music, and fun activities designed to inspire creativity and connection.
Why Volunteer?

- Gain hands-on experience in event planning, facilitation, and teamwork.
- Make a direct impact by supporting access to the arts for young people.
We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic volunteers to help make our Family Fun Day a success! If you’re available to be present at the event, you can assist in various roles, including:
Event Setup and Breakdown Team
- Help set up tables, activity stations, and decorations.
- Assist with cleanup and packing materials after the event.
Registration and Welcome Team
- Greet attendees and manage check-in booths.
- Hand out event brochures and provide directions.
Activity Station Assistants
- Help facilitate art, craft, and music stations.
- Ensure participants have the materials and support they need.
General Event Support
- Assist with various tasks throughout the event as needed.
Your support is invaluable in creating a fun and engaging experience for our community!
Requirements:
- Volunteers must be at least 16 years old (or accompanied by a parent/guardian if younger).
- Friendly, flexible, and ready to work in a team.
- Willingness to attend a short volunteer orientation before the event.
Time Commitment:
- Volunteers can commit to a full-day shift (1:00 PM - 4:00 PM)
Event Date: Saturday, June 7, 2025
Location: Southeast Community Center, 4201 E. 63rd Street, Kansas City, MO
