We are creating an eBay business account so we can sell donated books with a higher value online. This volunteer would oversee posting books on eBay and packing/shipping books as they are purchased.
Much of this work can be done from home, however you would need to come into the Kailua-Kona, Hawaii library to pick up the books to be posted and shipped.

Strengthen the Kona and Kealakekua communities by enhancing library services and programs to improve literacy.
Description
We fundraise to support programs, library needs, and to reinforce the importance of reading. These include monthly book sales, membership dues, and other fundraising activities. Reading proficiency in the Kailua Kona public elementary schools is at 40% which is considerably less than 52% Hawaii statewide.
