In 2024, One City Cafe at Bishop Sullivan Center fed a staggering 97,000 Kansas Citians! Every day our staff and volunteers are hard at work preparing and serving amazing meals to our guests.
We need someone that loves to prepare food. In this case, it would be help grinding meat using a commercial grinder and packaging for use in our kitchen. Ideally the volunter would be available 3 hours on Tuesday and/or Friday. Someone with good knife skills is a plus.
Help feed our community while reducing food waste!

Description
Food: Bishop Sullivan Center operates two food pantries and One City Cafe, a community kitchen that provides nutritious lunch and dinner every weekday.
Jobs: Our employment programs seeks to remove barriers that prevent people from finding and keeping employment. We also operate two computer labs and assist with job searches and resume building.
Aid: We provide financial assistance to low-income families in the form of utility, rent or other needed assistance.
