Become a Volunteer Adult Literacy Tutor - Non-Literate Spanish-Speaking Lerners. Palm Vista Senior Center - City of Oxnard Senior Services provides a variety programs to senior citizens that inhanse their quality of life. Something as simple as filling out a registration from is debilitating to someone without these skills, this new program will help our elderly adults learn how to read and write, giving them the independance, boosting their self-esteem and empowering them to take care of their own personal business without having to seek assistance from a family member, friend and sometimes a stranger, exposing them to fraud or other dangers.
