SCORE Western Massachusetts is looking for a motivated and skilled Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts. This role is essential in promoting our free mentoring services and educational resources to entrepreneurs and small business owners in Hampden, Hampshire, Franklin, and Berkshire Counties.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute a marketing strategy to support SCORE’s mission of helping local entrepreneurs.

  • Create and manage content for the website, social media, email newsletters, and print materials.

  • Work with SCORE mentors and workshop leaders to highlight their expertise and promote events.

  • Manage partnerships with vendors like advertising agencies and graphic designers.

  • Track and analyze marketing data to improve strategies and results.

  • Oversee the marketing budget and ensure resources are used effectively.

  • Coordinate with other SCORE chapters and the national office to ensure consistent branding.

  • Build partnerships with local businesses and organizations to increase SCORE’s reach.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a similar field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, ideally in non-profits or small businesses.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • Excellent writing and communication skills to create messages for different audiences.

  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools, content management systems, and analytics platforms.

  • Experience with fundraising and donor communications is a plus.

  • Understanding of the Western Massachusetts business community is preferred.

  • Passion for helping small businesses and entrepreneurs.

For over 50 years, SCORE's thousands of working and retired business professionals have volunteered to support the success of small business nationwide. SCORE business mentoring is free and confidential.
